Madeleine began her Healing Touch (HT) journey in 2004, while concurrently conducting her Holistic Health Practitioner (HHP) studies. In 2007, she completed her HHP program and began her private wellness practice. In 2008, she completed her HT studies and became a Healing Touch Certified Practitioner (HTCP). Since then, she frequently takes continuing education courses and completes her recertification every five years.
Because of her desire to help improve the health and well-being of her two schipperkes, Madeleine began her Healing Touch for Animals® (HTA) studies in the fall of 2008 and by the spring of 2012, she completed her HTA certification and became a Healing Touch for Animals® instructor (HTACP/I). Since then she added HTA to her wellness practice and has been supporting both people and their animals. Maddie has taught hundreds of students HTA energy work, has volunteered her time/skills at numerous animal organizations throughout San Diego County, frequently takes continuing education courses and completes her HTA recertification every five years as well.
Besides this healing practice, Maddie enjoys being outdoors, doing pilates, yoga and spending time with other practitioners volunteering in the community. Madeleine holds two Masters degrees, a Master of Arts in Spanish from the University of Virginia, and a Master of Arts in Nonprofit Leadership and Management from the University of San Diego.
